The C.N.E. Partied Like a Rock Star on the Canadian National Exhibition grounds in Toronto from August 19 to September 5, 2022. There was much to excite the visitors (families, couples and singles) at the EX from kids’ world, attractions, performances, competitions, food, rides, games, shopping, gaming garage and the walk & talks. Attractions included the casino and the 73rd annual Canadian International Air Show thundered back.
The CNE impressed with the 2022 Bandshell Line-Up. The headliners were musicians Tom Cochrane, Gordon Lightfoot, Johnny Reid, and Marianas Trench and stand-up comedians Howie Mandel and Ali Monowhales.
Canadian star singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot had the crowd partying like rock stars on Sept.3, 2022 at the CNE. He was born in Orillia, Ontario. He has achieved international acclaim as a singer song writer in the world of folk, folk-rock, and country music and helped establish the folk-pop sound of the 1960s and 1970s. His notable songs include “Early Morning Rain” and “For Lovin’ Me”.
