
Ontario Sports Hall of Fame Induction & Awards Gala 2022 was held on Wed, 25 May 2022 at the John Bassett Theatre at the Toronto Convention Centre.
The Ontario Sports Hall of Fame honoured athletes and personalities with outstanding achievement in sports in Ontario, Canada. Those celebrated this year included Bianca Andreescu, Daniel Nestor, Brad Park, Abby Hoffman, Adam van Koeverden, Tom Watt, Brian Budd, Barbara Underhill and Paul Martini, Gordon Craig, Jack Dominico, Damian Warner and the RBC Canadian Open!
This year’s gal started with a fine cocktail reception which included networking opportunities and photo opportunities with athletics and personalities. People were catching up with each other. There was a 50-50 draw, live & silent auction as well as plenty of entertainment. The Master of Ceremonies for the induction ceremony, awards presentations was Scott Russell, of CBC Sports.

- Sandy Hawley Community Service Award: RBC Canadian Open
- Brian Williams Media Award: Gordon Craig
- Prentice Family Legacy Award: Jack Dominico

The Ontario Sports Hall of Fame is a registered charity dedicated to honouring athletes and personalities with outstanding achievement in sports in the province of Ontario, Canada. It was established in 1994 by Bruce Prentice. In 2016, Mark Gravett was elected to lead the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. Mark diversified the makeup of the Board of Directors and expanded the reach and the awareness of the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame across 62 recognized provincial sports organizations and across the greater populace of Ontario.
