Honda Indy Toronto 2023, an annual IndyCar Series race, hit Toronto on the grounds of the C.N.E. from July 13 to 16, 2023. Indy Toronto includes the free by donation family Friday, three days of racing, the Honda World, Thunder Ally, Beer Gardens, qualifying races, and the races: the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, and the Sports Car Championship Canada.
Honda World:
This interactive fan area featured games, vehicle displays, activities and much more. Included were activities like face painting, racing simulators and a photo display with James Hinchcliffe’s show car.
Thunder Alley:
Thunder Alley had interactive contests and exhibits, food trucks and vendors, live entertainment, driver autograph sessions and family fun.
The Main Event: Honda Indy Toronto: NTT INDYCAR SERIES:
Christian Lundgaard won the Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday July 16, 2023 with strategy & speed for his 1st NTT INDYCAR SERIES victory. He drove a No. 45 Vivid Clear Rx Honda to a twelve second victory over 2nd place finisher Alex Palou driving the No. 10 Journie Rewards Honda. Colton Herta drove the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda to his season best 3rd place. Honda Toronto 2022 winner, Scott Dixon placed fourth driving the No. 9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda while trying an alternate strategy to counter Lundgaard’s speed.

Torontoartsandevents began covering it when it was known as the Molson Indy Toronto when it was a Champion Car World Series race held annually from 1986 to 2007.
