25th Annual Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada Gala 2023 transformed the luxurious Fairmont Royal York into your childhood playground with Batman, Spiderman, the Terminator and other characters all for a worthy cause.
Attractions:
Outstanding attractions included a life-size toy train gliding around the Gala, superheroes and toy characters interacting with amused Guests and children in attendance.
Willy Wonka Themed Raffle provided guests with opportunities to take home fabulous prizes, largely donated by the Air Canada Foundation, all for the benefit of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Entertainment
Multi-Platinum Selling Recording Artist Tyler Shaw wowed the crowd with several of his tunes. There was well as a strong performance by the Mississauga Children’s Choir.
A Worthy Cause:
Since its inception, the gala raised over $20 million through the foundations various fundraising initiatives and the immense generosity of sponsors and donors. All of the proceeds from this event will be directed into the organization’s programs and services that help terminally ill kids and their families re-establish normality and create new and positive experiences that uplift the hearts and minds of the children and their families. Starlight provides incredibly exciting in-hospital and out-hospital special outings, hospital bags filled with goodies from Toys ‘R’ Us, and other programming that restore fun and optimism in the lives of young terminally ill children and their families whose lives have been turned upside-down by these tragic circumstances.
