Interior Design Show Toronto 2022 was held in person from April 7 to April 10, 2022 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.   It consisted of four days of interior design training, the IDS Social! on Thursday, April 7 as well as many show features and exhibits.  This was an opportunity to meet important designers and personalities of interior design.  Guests also accessed over 150 products and immersive exhibits and installations in one location at the MTCC.

The Main Features of IDS 2022

Neo Colosseo is an immersive installation which is designed by Alessandro Munge and sponsored by Caesarstone. Mr. Munge “approaches every project as a whole with a deep understanding of practicalities, artistic expression, and human connectivity.”  He won the prestigious Ryerson Alumni Achievement, Award Interior Design’s Leader in Hospitality and Contract Magazine’s Designer of the Year Award with his innovative point of view.

Neon Garden is collaboration between Rollout and Coolab.  This was a beautifully designed place for friendly meetings or a bite to eat.  Did it “inspire you to connect, collaborate, reflect, and refresh”?

The design features of the Neon Garden showcased designer Clayton Budd’s (Coolab’s principal and founder) new collection of wall coverings fuses technology with organic beauty.  This collection incorporates “softness and nature contrasted with techno-glitch and imperfections, resulting in a look of sophistication and artistic reverence.”

Interior Design Show 2022 was an informative event showcasing the best of interior design.  Although it wasn’t as large as previously years, it was great to attend in person and to connect personally and learn. Check back here next year’s IDS 2023 and we expect it will be even better!
