Toronto Raptors Red Party 2010

The Toronto Raptors players, coaches and management held their 15th annual Red Party on March 3, 2010 at Muzik in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This event is the flagship fundraiser for the MLSE Team Up Foundation and gave fans the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with the Raptors' team and management and the Raptors' radio and television broadcast personalities. There was a VIP party with about 400 attendees and then more than 800 party attendees attended the main party. This exciting party consisted of an open bar, fine food being passed around and a silent auction where guests had a chance to bid on hundreds of silent auction items including a collection of 30 exclusive men's and women's Movado ESQ watches especially created to recognize the Raptors 15th anniversary, two tickets to the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, Raptors Reggie Evans' blue linen bench jacket and two tickets to Taylor Swift's sold out concert at Air Canada Centre. The entertainment for the evening was Canadian rapper, Aubrey Drake Graham aka DRAKE. “The generosity of our donors combined with charitable events such as the Raptors Red Party enables the MLSE Team Up Foundation to continue to make a significant difference in our communities by improving the lives of youth through building recreational facilities and giving grants to worthy charitable initiatives,” said Aris Kaplanis, vice-chair of the MLSE Team Up Foundation.
