On May 28, 2009, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at Harbourfront Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada marked their
22nd anniversary with a celebration. IT'S ONE LOUDER is described by the Power Plant as "The Original
Contemporary Art Party," Power Ball is a fundraiser in support of The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at Harbourfront Centre and THE social event of the
season. This Ball was an exciting celebration of art and culture that actually had Toronto art supporters dancing! - highly unusual in the
cool art scene. "Power Ball 11 will have an open bar, open flames, roller girls, smashed cars to make out in, a hot tub, rolling man-caves, jacked-up women, boulders and dry ice," says Client Roenishch , Co-Chair of Power Ball 11.
This year's Power Ball not only combined art, fashion, music with culture it also included musical performance by alternative country band, One Hundred Dollars; a space disco trio, Parallels; and DJs Will Munro, Derek Maniella and Ray Gillespie.
