On May 22, 2008, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at Harbourfront Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada marked their
21st anniversary with a sold out celebration. DECADANCE was the spirited title for Power Ball 10 which is described by the Power Plant as "The Original
Contemporary Art Party," Power Ball is a fundraiser in support of The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery at Harbourfront Centre and THE social event of the
season. Power Ball 10: DECADANCE was an exciting celebration of art and culture that actually had Toronto art supporters dancing! - highly unusual in the
cool art scene. "Power Ball 10: DECADANCE is the perfect way to shine the spotlight on The Power Plant's contribution to Toronto's contemporary art scene,"
says Paul Bain, Co-Chair of Power Ball 10. "For more than twenty years, the gallery has fostered creativity in a way that is unique to the city, the country
and the world. Power Ball 10 is both a salute to Toronto's contemporary art scene and a big thank you to those who have helped make our city a beacon in the
global arts community." The Power Ball 10 Co-Chairs were Paul Bain, Elisa Nuyten and Ken Montague
This year's Power Ball not only combined art, fashion, music with culture it also included a performance by Toronto-based Electro-funk, hip hop trio, Let's
Go To War and DJ Barbi followeded up with her electronic-based grooves. Let's Go To War has a sound described as Bionic-Soul ( the evolution of Electro-Funk
) signed to Canadian label Last Gang Records in March of 2007 and has gone on to open for Juno-nominated artist Chromeo in March 2008 - look for them in the
