The Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music held its fifth annual celebration of the great Mozart's birthday at its beautiful new building on Bloor Street in Toronto, its Centre for Performance and Learning. Over 70 musicians and singers from the Royal Conservatory of Music gathered to entertain for charity: it was a party that would have made Mozart proud!
Guests were treated to great classical music in every room at the new building. Guests found, say, a harpist in the bar; a classical guitarist in another room; a string quartet in still in another room!
Besides the delight of constant music, from classical to rock, there was food and drink spilling out of every room as well. Guests enjoyed exotic & innovative cuisine throughout the evening which was passed or served at elaborate food stations, raw bars & sushi bars and of course a candy room!!
There were plenty of important business guests and patrons of the arts on hand to support the grand event whose purpose was to raise funds for the Royal Conservatory of Music.
