Eat to the Beat

Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada's annual fundraising gala, Eat to the Beat, was held on October 6, 2009 at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and featured 60 of Canada's finest female chefs - they gathered in support of Willow's free programs and services. Since 1994, Eat to the Beat has raised more than $ 2.7 million to support those effected by breast cancer through Will Breast Cancer Support Canada. This event was held at the luxurious and historic Roy Thomson Hall and presented a dazzling collection of gourmet foods from Toronto's most talented chefs as well as a fine collection of excellent wines, beers and beverages all collected for a worthy cause. Our favourite was the spare ribs presented by Great Cooks On Eight - see photo. TorontoArtsandEvents enjoyed the elegant music of the Blue Danube Trio, the music of which suited this fine event.
