38th Annual Big Night Out Superhero Gala
June 5th 2008
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto (BBBST) held its 38th Annual Big Night Out superhero gala on June 5th 2008 at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, Ontario,
Canada to celebrate the heroes who make a difference in the lives of so many children and youth in our community.
This great night was hosted by Rick Campanelli and Kim D'Eon and guests enjoyed their choice of excellent drinks which included fine wine, cocktails and a
fine dinner while being urged to bid on the silent and live auction items as they share a little magic and enable children to grow and succeed for a better
future. The entertainment included Jully Black, Suzie McNeil, Wade O. Brown, Rex Goudie, Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale. A special presentation
honoured the 2008 Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the year award recipients and their Little Brothers and Little Sisters. "This annual gala is about
celebrating the heroes who make a difference in the lives of our children – one hour, one day at a time," says Cathy Denyer, President of Big Brothers and
Big Sisters of Toronto: "We couldn't offer our programs without our volunteers and our generous sponsors. This night is to celebrate so many accomplishments"
